Notice
The Indiana Department of Natural
Resources are "warning" people to be cautious when moving firewood. The
camping public must use extreme caution when they take firewood to distant locations.
Transporting wood allows these invasive "hitch-hikers" the means to
travel great distances and destroy trees.
We have fire wood for sale here,
We offer a fair amount of fire wood for the cost. Our wood comes from the
campground property and the Lafayette area. The main areas affected by the Emerald Ash Bore
(EAB) are
Michigan, NW Ohio, and many Indiana counties. The Gypsy Moth is also still a concern.
We will not allow
firewood from Illinois, Michigan, Ohio or any quarantined county or
state. The quarantined counties of Indiana are increasing
and Tippecanoe County was added to the list on May 3, 2010.
